Volador - Traditional Style Wooden Magnet

The Danza de Voladores is nowadays associated with the region of Papantla, Veracruz.  This ancient ritual we once performed throughout ancient Mesoamerica. The ceremony involves dancers leaping from a tall poll to which they are tied with a rope, and then swinging around the poll as they slowly descend to the sound of music.
